EVENT DETAILS
Join the staff of Trees Atlanta for the Native Grass Workshop led by The Ecosystem Design Group team from the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in Austin, TX. This team is experienced in both environmental consulting and scientific research.  They will be assisting Trees Atlanta in a research project focused on the 7.5 acres of native grass in the Atlanta BeltLine Arboretum.

Registrants are encouraged to attend both sessions (Friday & Saturday) to better understand the full scope of the project. The Friday and Saturday workshops are similar, but not identical. Friday's session will be better suited for registrants interested in preparation & installation, while Saturday's session will be better suited for registrants interested in maintenance & monitoring. This free educational opportunity is intended to enlighten the audience on the positive role of native grasses, how native grasses can be reintroduced in urban landscapes like the Atlanta BeltLine, and inspire attendees to help as Trees Atlanta embarks on a large scale native grass planting effort.
